Magic Stix Markers {Review}
This product intrigued me right from the start. Not because of their fun design, bold colors, or handy carrying case, but because of the promise to not dry out up to seven days with the cap off. You see I have a master builder- I talked about her love of all thing “mess” here. But in the midst of these outrageous creations she makes, she has a terrible habit of leaving the caps off markers. Every. Single. Day. I throw away markers that have dried out. So when I was given the chance to try out the Magic Stix Washable Markers, from The Pencil Grip, Inc. I more than jumped at the opportunity.
I didn’t share the markers with Maddie right away. I wanted to wait until she was working on a project, so that I could keep up with where she was putting them. I just knew she was going to leave the caps off and I was ready with my camera to document.
The first project she chose was this coloring skirt that she had gotten for her birthday. We had the original markers for it but of course she had used them on another master project (and lost or let them dry out) They worked perfectly here. I don’t intend on ever washing it, it’s just a play skirt. Which is a good thing because these are washable markers! But I suppose that would just give us an excuse to change colors.
And wouldn’t you know it, because of the handy carrying case, where each marker has it’s own happy place, my little turkey put those markers right back where they belong. No loose lids to document.
When she started her next coloring project I was armed and ready, but alas that handy carrying case, saved the markers yet again. You’re just going to have to trust me (and The Pencil Grip, Inc) on this one and believe that the markers are awesome and they aren’t prone to drying out quickly. I basically let her go to town with the markers after my two failed supervised attempts. She carries them with her in the car, she uses them to complete her school work, and they have become her go to- for all those fun projects she makes. They have remained bright and true to color.

They are odorless. I get terrible migraines from strong odors (some of those dry erase ones are the worst!) These don’t smell like anything.
They are non-toxic– If you have a little one that likes to put everything in their mouth, no problems here. Except of course the blue lips.

As stated above, they are GUARANTEED to not dry out with the cap off for a full 7 days.

If you have little ones that have a hard time remembering to put lids back on, or maybe you have big ones that love those adult coloring books, these markers are perfect. They are bright and colorful, they hold their color and the ink flows nicely.
