As Christian parents, we want our teen daughters to grow in their faith and develop a strong moral compass. But we also know that life isn’t always easy, and our girls will inevitably face difficult challenges and questions. Here are 5 Christian novels that I recommend for teen girls that will help them grapple with real-life issues:

• Parent warning: This book deals with serious illness and death.

• Parent warning: This book contains mature content, including sexual assault and violence. I also would like to include here, that while this is one of my favorite novels, I cannot recommend the movie for your teen daughter. There are some highly suggestive scenes that in my opinion are not appropriate.
