What You’ll Need to play the Ocean Explorers Math Fact Game :

  • Game board
  • Dice: One or two, depending on how you want to play.
  • Multiplication word problem game cards

Prep Your Math Fact Cards:

There are a variety of multiplication word problems that will need to be cut out and laid near the game board. The word problems will be similar to the ones below.

  2. Players take turns rolling the dice and moving their game pieces.
  3. If a player lands on an ocean creature space, they draw a math fact card and solve the problem. If correct, they stay on their space. If incorrect, they move back one space.
  4. If a player lands on a “shark attack” space, they move back two spaces!
  5. The first player to reach the finish line wins.
